I’m pretty excited for some funky beats from some of the best music producers in the game. The music festival returns on July 28 31 at a new location in Snohomish, Washington. Headliners are GRiZ, Greensky Bluegrass, and Big Wild. Lineups in recent years have featured a few artists who have really blown up and this year the performers are pretty incredible too. Summer Meltdown is hosted in Darrington, WA from August 11 – 14 and is said to be the “largest locally-produced independent camping and music festival in the Pacific Northwest”.Īfter attending a few of the region’s more mainstream festivals, we are really hoping there is a huge emphasis on the ‘local’ aspect for Summer Meltdown. Headlining this year’s Summer Meltdown is Griz, STS9, Greensky Bluegrass, Lettuce, Cory Wong, Jade Cicada and Opiuo. Respect My Region has been making some major moves so far in 2016 and is excited to be attending over 5 music festivals this summer. We are really excited for all of the festivals being hosted around the region and can’t wait to check out what Summer Meltdown is all about.
